Me and my husband came here for 5 days with our one year old and overall it was a really great holiday.
There's plenty of stuff to do for the kids, our little one loved the swimming pool and the outside play area. The beach is only a short walk away too from the caravans.
The Mash and Barrel restaurant offers lovely food and the service is quick and friendly.
(one staff member was quite rude to us when we were ordering but apart from that the staff were more than helpful and welcoming).
Only annoying thing was that it cost us £8 for one wash and dry at the launderette which seems way overpriced compared to other holiday parks we have been to but this is only a small thing and overall we had a really enjoyable holiday and we would definitely recommend this park to other families.
We arrived Monday and left today and didn’t wa t to leave. The caravan was lovely and clean and so spacious, we had a lovely view of the sea.
The swimming pool was lovely and warm, and we loved the bubble pool.
Lovely walks around the forest area and down to the beach.
Papa johns was good and good value for money.
On site shop was perfect for everything you needed.
The entertainment was really good and they really work hard. We played bingo and many games.
There is bowling, pool, arcade games, and many more activities.
Can’t wait to rebook for next year.
We stayed at Quay West site Monday - Friday at the beginning of October!
We arrived a little earlier than the allocated time however, the guys on security were very friendly and allowed us straight down to our caravan.
The caravan was on the gwent area and dog friendly. I am very conscious/careful with the current pandemic however, I must say the caravan appeared to be spotless upon our arrival and I had no concerns whatsoever. There was also a wonderful view of the sea!
The site was lovely and quiet, we didn’t go in to the arcade/restaurant on site but the staff on the door were very friendly and gave us plenty of advice etc. Staff in the shop also very friendly! Steep path down to a gorgeous quiet beach but flat and well lit!
We walked in to New Quay and were amazed to sit on the wall and watch the dolphins!! It was beautiful!
Can’t fault the place and would definitely return. Thanks for having us!
