Penrhiwllan Inn

Penrhiwllan Inn

good food & plenty of it
It is a popular pub and the bar was quite busy. We booked a table in the restaurant where the atmosphere was a little quieter. The food was good pub grub, we had steak and ale pie, vegetable lasagna & chicken tikka masala, all were delicious. The portions were very generous. IT was good value for money.

Mariners Cafe

Mariners Cafe

Best. Chips. Ever!!!!!
On holiday with my wife in New Quay, felt a little bit pekish and we decided on having chips to "fill the hole" so to speak the chips were freshly cooked to order and they were great. Hot and crispy, not an oily aftertaste at all. Crispy scraps included was a massive, tasty bonus (for those who know what scraps are ) We're still in New Quay as I'm writing this review, so expect another review later.

The Captains Rendezvous

The Captains Rendezvous

Lovely fish and chips
A trip to the seaside wouldn’t be perfect without fish and chips. There are several to choose from but the Captains Rendezvous was great. Big portions and plenty of choice. I wouldn’t say it’s expensive, fish and chips generally are and you can’t get much fresher. It gets very busy at times but worth it. We are ours across the road looking for dolphins and we saw some too. A few wasps but no sea gull issues. Buns for your rubbish too. Enjoy.

The Sup Shack

Really fresh food at great prices, scallops and chips tonight and last week I came 3 times and also had the scallops along with cod and chips on one of the nights. Possible to sit outside too. Highly recommended, great location near the sea and harbour.
