Quay West does not have any Touring, Tent Pitches or Motorhomes pitchers
Kiln Park is the nearest Park see below.
This was our third visit to the park and we had another great break. The caravan was a ‘standard’ with heating - lovely, clean and modern. Quite small but that’s what we paid for!
Staff at the reception, the pools and in the bars were friendly and helpful. We requested more pillows and these were sent to us within a couple of hours.
Our daughters used the pool a couple of times and it didn’t get too busy. They also took part in the ‘Aerial Adventure’ on the site which was fantastic!
The site itself is in a lovely part of Wales. As others have said it is hilly to walk into New Quay and down to the beach but if you have no mobility issues it’s fine.
We didn’t eat at The Mash and Barrel but we had a few drinks in there and it was good value. The entertainment in the Live Lounge wasn’t really for us but families with young kids seemed to enjoy it.
New Quay is a gorgeous little town with a great pub (The Black Lion) and some really good restaurants, cafes and an amazing ice cream shop! We eat in the Blue Bell Deli/Restaurant one evening and it was fantastic with beautiful views over the harbour (see picture). We spent a day at the beach and walked back to the site over the sands which it is possible to do when the tide is out otherwise you need to go back via New Quay.
I’d recommend this site as it is in a lovely setting with the town of New Quay not too far away.
